Our staff have a wealth of expertise when it comes to event management.
Kate says: “I joined the industry in 1992 as an Account Executive with a degree in French & Italian, and an enthusiasm from the start! Five years later I set up K&N Travel and have never looked back. People are what make this job, and on a daily basis, I enjoy meeting and working with people from different cultures from all over the world, on both the client and supplier side. Over the years the company has evolved, but the ethos remains the same; commitment to high quality service, attention to detail, creativity and innovative ideas, whilst having fun!”
Susie says: “I spent 8 years working in the travel industry in Europe prior to joining the team at K&N and it’s great to be working with multi-national team here. K&N have many loyal clients and have an excellent reputation so our work is very rewarding. Probably the thing I most enjoy about working with K&N is that no two days are the same. Perhaps that’s why I’m still here after 17 years!”
Alan says: “With many years’ experience in the small business sector and a Masters degree in Industrial Management, I was invited to join K & N at its very formation as their internal management accountant. It has been fun to be with such warm and trustworthy colleagues and to share their experiences of growth.”
Marie says: “What I enjoy most about my job at K&N Travel is seeing an event that has been planned for months come to life. It is great to be able to provide visitors with a unique experience and unforgettable memories; and it is very exciting that no two events are ever the same.”
Being with K&N means for me that I can make use of my language skills in an industry I am passionate about. From relationship building with clients and suppliers to meeting groups and sharing with them the wonders Scotland has to offer, I think we are really spoilt! At K&N, we really strive for organising flawless events and after months or years of work on a project, it is always fantastic to see it come to life!
