As a DMC we’re always on the lookout for the best exclusive-use accommodation around the UK. And never has there been more of a demand to avoid the crowds, and get away from it all. Here’s our pick of some of the best exclusive-use stays for all your group hide-away needs.

Castles and Croquet

This historic Castle sits within 250 acres of its own landscaped gardens, park and woodlands, and is just twenty minutes from Glasgow International Airport. With 17 bedrooms, a croquet lawn, a private chef and a butler at your service, you’ll want for nothing. There’s a wide range of activities on the estate, from 4 x 4 Team Driving to
foraging for ‘Wild Gin Cocktails’.

A Floating Hotel

On the outskirts of Edinburgh this floating hotel can be exclusively yours. Enjoy creative cocktails on the deck and sumptuous afternoon teas in the lounge. With 23 cabins, and a glittering ballroom, you’ll be feeling ship shape in no time!

Luxury Camping

Set on a croft in Perthshire, just an hour’s drive from Edinburgh Airport, is a collection of luxury tents for Glamping. Kitted out with wood-burning stoves, they’re perfect for groups keen to get outdoors. The croft also has a large communal indoor dining area and farm shop. Learn about growing your own food and how to survive in the wild. There are also great mountain bike tracks and scenic walks.

A Private Island

Nothing says peace and seclusion like a private island. J.M. Barrie rented the island as a summer holiday home in the 1920s. Many speculate that this inspired Neverland, and we can see why! Stay in one of the beautiful and remote cottages, or take over all of them as a group. The island is traffic free so it’s the perfect chance to get back to nature.

The Ultimate Country Retreat

For a short time, this elegant country retreat can be yours exclusively. Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea before being shown round the extensive formal gardens. If the weather’s nice indulge in a group wine tasting on the lawn with the house’s Head Sommelier. A foodie’s paradise, a cook school is attached to the manor, meaning you and your group can take some classes or simply enjoy a seven-course Michelin-starred tasting menu! With 32 bedrooms, this impressive Manor is set in the tranquil county of Oxfordshire.
